Hi, I’m Nicholas DaSilva, creator of Live Scoreboard. I built it as a simple matchday companion for soccer fans who want scores nearby without keeping another tab open. The extension keeps a pinned score in the Chrome toolbar, opens a clean side panel for match details, and lets fans watch upcoming games for kickoff reminders.Live Scoreboard is intentionally unofficial and careful with permissions. It does not read page content, browsing history, cookies, passwords, or user-entered website data. Its goal is narrow: live scores, reminders, local preferences, and original team-inspired skins for fans.

- Saved or watched event IDs.
- Active event selection.
- Pinned toolbar match ID.
- Selected language.
- Active scoreboard skin.
- Icon customization preferences.
- Reminder timing preference.
- Last notification IDs, used to avoid duplicate reminder notifications.
- Cached score data, used to show the last known scoreboard state during feed outages.This data is used only to run the extension features you choose. It is stored locally through Chrome’s extension storage system.## Data We Do Not CollectLive Scoreboard does not collect, sell, share, or transmit:- Browsing history.
- Web page content.
- Search history.
- Cookies.
- Passwords.
- Form entries.
- Emails, chats, or personal communications.
- Payment information.
- Precise location.
- Advertising identifiers.
- Personal analytics data.Live Scoreboard does not include ads, tracking pixels, remote analytics, checkout flows, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.## Live Score And Event DataLive Scoreboard requests factual scoreboard, event, and standings data from ESPN endpoints, including:- https://site.api.espn.com/*
- https://site.web.api.espn.com/*These requests are used to display live and upcoming match data, event information, bracket progress, and standings inside the extension.Live Scoreboard does not attach your watched list, saved events, pinned match, selected skin, icon preferences, language setting, browsing activity, or personal data to these ESPN requests.As with ordinary web requests, ESPN or other data providers may receive standard technical request information such as IP address and user-agent according to their own systems and policies.## Custom RSS Or Calendar FeedsLive Scoreboard version 2.5.0 does not currently import custom RSS feeds, calendar feeds, or user-provided event URLs.If custom RSS, calendar, or external feed import features are added in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated before that feature is released.## Chrome PermissionsLive Scoreboard uses the following Chrome extension permissions:- sidePanel: opens the scoreboard in Chrome’s side panel.
- storage: saves preferences, watched matches, saved events, pinned match, reminder settings, language, skin, icon customization, and cached score data locally.
- alarms: refreshes score data and checks reminder timing in the background.
- notifications: shows optional match reminder notifications.
- Host permission for https://site.api.espn.com/*: fetches scoreboard and event data.
- Host permission for https://site.web.api.espn.com/*: fetches standings data for bracket and event updates.Live Scoreboard does not use content scripts and does not request permission to read or change websites you visit.## Limited Use DisclosureLive Scoreboard’s use of data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.The extension only uses data for user-facing features that are part of Live Scoreboard’s stated purpose: live score viewing, event tracking, watch list management, reminders, language preferences, skins, icon customization, and cached scoreboard display.Live Scoreboard does not use user data for advertising, resale, creditworthiness, unrelated profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the extension’s core features.## Data SharingLive Scoreboard does not sell user data, transfer user data to advertisers, or share user data with third parties.The only network activity initiated by the extension is the scoreboard, event, and standings data requests described above.## Data Retention And DeletionStored preferences remain in Chrome storage until you change them, clear extension data, or uninstall the extension.Uninstalling Live Scoreboard removes its locally stored extension data through Chrome’s normal extension removal behavior.You can also clear extension data through Chrome’s browser settings.## ChildrenLive Scoreboard is a general-audience live score and event tracking utility. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.## Changes To This PolicyJersey Publishers may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.When changes are made, the effective date above will be updated.
